Oguzhan Yagci ("us", "we", or "our") operates the Akuma SRS mobile application and the https://akumasrs.io website (together, the "Service").
This page explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. Unless otherwise defined here, terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meaning as in our Terms and Conditions, accessible at https://akumasrs.io/terms.
Akuma SRS is a Japanese kanji learning app. You can use the app without creating an account, and your study data is stored locally on your device. We use a small number of third-party services for subscriptions, diagnostics, and advertising measurement. On iOS, we ask for your permission before any tracking that uses your device's advertising identifier.
Learning and app data on your device. Your decks, review history, progress, preferences, and similar data are stored locally on your device using on-device storage. This data is not uploaded to our servers and is removed when you uninstall the app.
Purchase and subscription data. Akuma SRS offers auto-renewable subscriptions. Payments are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play); we never receive or store your payment card details. We use RevenueCat to manage and validate subscriptions. RevenueCat processes a pseudonymous app user identifier together with your subscription status, product identifiers, purchase and renewal events, and your store country and currency.
Device, advertising, and usage data. To understand where our users come from and how our marketing performs, we use AppsFlyer. AppsFlyer collects device and usage information such as a device identifier (including the Apple Advertising Identifier, or "IDFA", and the Google Advertising ID where available), an AppsFlyer device ID, IP address, device model and operating system version, and in-app events such as installs, app opens, registrations, trial starts, and purchases (including price and currency). We link the AppsFlyer identifier with your RevenueCat profile so that subscription events can be attributed to the marketing campaign that referred you.
Diagnostic data. The app captures limited crash and error information to help keep it stable. This diagnostic information is processed on your device only and is not transmitted to us or to any third party.
Log data (website). When you visit https://akumasrs.io, we and our hosting and analytics providers may collect standard log data such as your IP address, browser type and version, the pages you visit, and the date and time of your visit.
iOS. Before we use your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) for tracking, we ask for your permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you do not grant permission, we do not access the IDFA, and we limit our measurement to privacy-preserving signals such as Apple's SKAdNetwork. You can change your choice at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Android. On Android, our attribution provider may access the Google Advertising ID. You can reset this identifier or opt out of personalized advertising at any time in Settings → Google → Ads (the exact path varies by device).
European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland. Where required by law, we rely on your consent to use advertising identifiers and to share device and event data with advertising partners for measurement and targeting. You may decline or withdraw this consent at any time using the device controls described above, and withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before you withdrew it. Until consent is given, we limit ourselves to non-advertising processing necessary to run the app and your subscription.
We share the information described above with the service providers that power these features. For advertising measurement, we share device and advertising identifiers and related event data with advertising networks and partners. This sharing is used to attribute installs and subscriptions, to measure and optimize advertising campaigns, and to build audiences (including similar, or "lookalike", audiences) and re-engagement campaigns in other apps and services. On iOS, this advertising-related use only occurs after you grant permission through App Tracking Transparency.
Our key service providers and partners include:
Each of these providers processes your information under its own privacy policy. We do not sell your Personal Information for money. However, our sharing of advertising identifiers and event data with advertising partners to build audiences and measure campaigns may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of Personal Information under certain laws, such as the California Consumer Privacy Act. You can opt out of this sharing as described in the "Advertising Identifiers and Your Consent" and "California Privacy Rights" sections below.

We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. On-device learning data remains until you delete it or uninstall the app. Subscription and attribution records are retained for as long as needed to manage your subscription and to meet our legal, accounting, and fraud-prevention obligations.

Our Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from them. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with Personal Information, please contact us. We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date above. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
